As a Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse led appointments and will be required to support the Vet with procedures as required ensuring we deliver exceptional care always there to our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance. Medivet Wath is a kind and caring team who are able to offer a full range of veterinary services and facilities, including nurse clinics and dental procedures, alongside friendly, expert care. The practice is supported by our newly appointed Practice Manager and the Veterinary and Nursing team. We are offering full time working pattern of 4 weekdays per week and a 1 in 4 weekend rota. That’s the care for our patients, our clients and for each other – we really want to make a positive difference through every interaction we have. In this role you will: Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients. Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity. Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities. Deliver patient monitoring and care. Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team. Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care. Dispense and check medication. Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards. Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice. Your Skills and Experience: RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse. Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team. Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
