Looking to make a real difference in children’s lives? We’re working with a specialist SEND school in East London who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.
This role is about more than just classroom support—you’ll be helping pupils with additional needs feel safe, included, and confident to learn. Every day will bring something new, and your patience, positivity, and encouragement will mean the world to the pupils you support.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, complex needs)
* Supporting learning, communication, and social development
* Helping to create a calm, structured, and engaging classroom environment
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure pupils thrive
What we’re looking for:
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in schools or other settings)
* A calm, patient, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and empathy skills
* Someone reliable and ready to make a positive impact straight away

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
