Ladwa Recruitment is working in partnership with a prestigious listed organization to recruit an experienced Assistant Company Secretary for their Company Secretariat department.
This entrepreneurial organization seeks an experienced governance professional to join their growing, fast-paced Secretariat team. Working closely with a supportive and collaborative secretariat team and reporting to the Deputy Company Secretary, this role offers varied and challenging work within a PLC.
1. Support the board and committee processes, including drafting agendas, preparing board papers, and uploading documents to the board portal.
2. Manage UK & international subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with the global governance framework.
3. Oversee MAR compliance.
4. Assist with the Annual Report & Accounts, including drafting, reviewing content, and liaising with auditors and stakeholders.
5. Lead the AGM and other shareholder meetings.
6. Manage director induction processes and maintain related registers.
7. Lead on corporate projects, such as legal entity rationalization.
8. Support and mentor team members.
This role is suited for an ambitious, capable, and hardworking candidate eager to enhance governance and compliance processes within the Group. A good understanding of corporate governance and regulatory requirements for a listed organization is essential.
