What does this Support Worker job involve?
Hours of Work: 40 Hours Per Week - Flexible shifts available Day & Night
* Support individuals in their own homes and in the wider community
* Assist with day-to-day living, including personal care, household tasks, and health management
* Respond to challenging behaviours with professionalism, empathy, and consistency
* Encourage independence, confidence, and community integration
* Engage individuals in leisure, educational, and employment activities
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and uphold the six core values: Choice, Fulfilment, Privacy, Dignity, Rights, and Independence

Essential Criteria:
This role is ideal for those who have previously worked in hospitals, secure units, or mental health settings, and are confident in delivering high-quality support in both structured and community-based environments.
* Minimum 5–10 years of experience in social care
* Experience supporting individuals with aggressive behaviours, self-harm, and complex needs
* Background in mental health units, hospitals, or similar high-support environments
* Strong understanding of positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques
* Enhanced communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding role
* Right to work in the UK
