Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Advanced Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Advanced Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Your management and leadership skills will help guide our team in delivering high-quality childcare and education, with additional responsibilities such as, coordinating with the nursery Leadership Team to embed WellComm.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's emotional and social development.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's achievements.
* Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a harmonious nursery environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to health, safety, and safeguarding.
* Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Requirements
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
* Strong management and leadership abilities to effectively guide a team of practitioners.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to create an inclusive environment for all children.
* Driving licence preferred to facilitate travel between locations if required.
