Senior Finance Officer
📍 Glasgow | Hybrid & Flexi-time | 21 hours per week
💰 200-300 per day | 3-month contract
The Opportunity
This is a part-time Senior Finance Officer role within a housing organisation, supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.
You'll work closely with the Director of Finance, taking ownership of core reporting, supporting year-end, and helping keep the finance team running effectively.
The role is largely requiring regular office attendance.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare management accounts, budgets and forecasts
* Support year-end and statutory accounts
* Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
* Liaise with auditors and support audit processes
* Support financial reporting and decision-making
* Assist with day-to-day finance operations
What we're looking for
Essential
* Experience in a finance or management accounting role
* Strong experience preparing management accounts and budgets
* Confident working in a hands-on, standalone environment
* Strong Excel and finance systems experience
Desirable
* Experience in housing, charity or public sector
* Exposure to year-end and audit processes
