What we'll need from you.
Essential: UK Driving Licence and access to a roadworthy car A genuine desire to help and support others Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic A flexible approach to work (including evenings, weekends and holidays if required Good written English and the ability to complete electronic care records Willingness to undergo training and professional development Unrestricted right to work in the UK
Desirable: Previous experience in a care or support role NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
Key Responsibilities:
As a CareAngel, your main duties will include: Delivering care in line with each client's personalised Care Plan Supporting clients with daily tasks, including:
Getting in and out of bed, dressing and undressing Personal hygiene support Changing catheters or stoma bags Administering medication and completing an eMAR Assisting with mobility, including the use of aids such as hoists, walking frames, and wheelchairs Meal planning, preparation, and cooking Light housekeeping and domestic duties Collaborating with healthcare professionals such as District Nurses and GPs Reporting any concerns or incidents promptly to your Team Leader, Care Manager, or the On-Call team Upholding all company policies, procedures, and values
