You’ll be our go-to expert in property and commercial matters, helping us make informed decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head, other lawyers, and internal teams on exciting projects. Your excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities will be invaluable.
About The Role
Providing legal and risk advice related to the Authority’s property, procurement, and commercial teams. Ensuring compliance with legal and governance requirements within the Mining Remediation Authority and the wider Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) concerning the Inland Salinity Programme.
Managing the legal team and workload in conjunction with the Head of Legal and Records, procuring and managing external solicitors, prioritizing legal areas to support the teams, and protecting the Authority’s legal position to support strategic goals.
