Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are partnering with a highly progressive, growing firm of chartered accountants in Gateshead, who are currently seeking an ambitious Accounts Semi Senior / Semi Senior Accountant to join their team.
The successful candidate will undertake a varied general practice role, preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships, as well as handling associated tax compliance. Responsibilities also include completing bookkeeping for clients and preparing VAT returns.

The ideal candidate will have a background in general practice work and may be AAT part or fully qualified, or already pursuing ACCA or ACA qualifications. Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations.
Bookkeeping for clients.
Preparation of periodic VAT returns.
Liaising with clients to resolve queries as needed.
Skills:
AAT Part Qualified / Qualified or ACCA / ACA Students.
Practice experience is essential.
