and main responsibilities
The post-holder will be expected to deliver clinical sessions with consultant oversight. The post-holder will be included in the senior registrar on-call rota covering Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The clinical sessions and timetable will be catered for on preference of specialist interest, there will be dedicated time for the chosen speciality subject. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to complete other Advanced Training Skills Modules (SITMs) and we will support the CESR pathway.

Essential criteria
1. GMC licence to practice
2. MRCOG membership
3. Compliant with RCOG CPD and eportfolio.
Desirable criteria
4. Additional Postgraduate qualification
5. Postgraduate masters, PhD
Skills
Essential criteria
6. The ability to work as senior registrar ST6+ level.
7. Broad spectrum of obstetrics and gynaecology experience within NHS.
8. Ability to manage own time and continuing professional development
9. Evidence of audit projects
10. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
11. Able to function successfully under pressure
12. Understand principles of research methodology
13. Evidence of service development
Desirable criteria
14. Experience of small and large group teaching
15. Evidence of involvement in National Audits
16. Publication in medical journals
