Professional engineers with a focus on process, standards, and collaboration are essential. The TfL Plant Engineering team covers a wide range of plant activities across the TfL network, including London Underground, Rail for London Infrastructure (Elizabeth Line), and London Trams.
As an Engineering Vehicles Track Plant Engineer, you will collaborate daily with our Engineering Vehicles division and project teams. Your responsibilities include delivering work packages and technical solutions for our OTM fleet, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal performance. You will develop innovative solutions, provide assurance, and guide key stakeholders. Effective communication with Senior Plant Engineers, Engineering Managers, Project Engineers, and Maintainers is crucial to support operations.
The engineering fleet will undergo renewal and development with new machinery. Being embedded within the engineering team allows you to influence project scope and ensure assurance and maintenance activities are addressed during the design phase.
