We are looking for a skilled IT Technician to join our team and support the effective operation of our services and projects through our IT systems.
Responsibilities
* Provide efficient and professional support for Inspira's IT systems, including cloud services, communications systems, servers, workstations, printers, and print services.
* Develop, maintain, and document local and wide area networks, including remote access, VPN, and cloud-based facilities.
* Support and enhance various CRM and communication systems by liaising with staff and suppliers.
* Develop new IT systems and enhance existing ones to reduce operating costs.
* Offer consultancy and support to all Inspira staff via telephone, MS Teams, in person, or through remote systems, ensuring a professional and courteous service.
* Monitor operational performance via key performance indicators and other targets.
Typical Work Tasks
* Work with the IT Manager to ensure the charity's security certifications such as ISO27001 and Cyber Assurance are maintained.
* Implement and develop cloud-based systems, including MS 365 and virtualisation services.
* Install and implement new ICT hardware, services, and software upgrades following the ITIL framework.
* Ensure firewalls and security policies are effective and monitor external threats to data security.
* Operate an efficient helpdesk service following ITIL principles.
* Administer ICT infrastructure ensuring secure access.
* Undertake research and development of new technologies to achieve the charity's objectives within budget.
Qualifications
You should hold at least a level 4 qualification in a relevant subject, or MCP/MCSE Qualification and:
* Recent experience (within the past 3 years) of working with or administering Active Directory including MS 365 systems.
* Experience of communicating with internal and external stakeholders ensuring a high standard of customer service.
* Understanding of requirements when working in an environment with confidential and sensitive issues.

* Good presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Ability to train users and assist in developing/writing training materials.

A willingness to travel throughout Cumbria and Lancashire.
