Role: Armature Winder
Location: Chesterfield
About the role:
You will use your experience and skills to meet the needs of our customers in some of the below areas:
1. Testing of AC/DC electrical motor winding.
2. Correct use of burnout techniques.
3. Detailing of AC/DC motor windings Rewinding of same.
4. Connection and Testing of Windings.
5. Impregnation and Stoving methods.
6. Use of specialist tools Assistance with other key tasks within the workshop.
7. The role will involve working standard day shifts with the opportunity to work overtime and to work on site with customers on some occasion
Working hours:
Mon - Thurs: 8am- 4.30pm
Fri: 8am - 3.30pm
Weekly hours: 37
About you:
8. Driving license.
9. You will have a formal training or qualification in winding within a motor environment With experience of both AC and DC winding, although just AC would be considered.
10. You will be confident in carrying out fitting task as well as winding.
