Job Title: Post-Completion Paralegal Location: Manchester City Centre Salary: Dependent on Experience Type: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity: A well-established commercial law firm based in Manchester city centre is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Post-Completion Paralegal to join its busy Commercial Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised legal support professional who is looking to grow their career within a high-performing, supportive legal environment. The role involves handling all aspects of the post-completion process for a wide range of commercial property transactions. You will be a key part of the team, ensuring that post-completion matters are managed efficiently and in line with legal and regulatory requirements. Role Overview: You will support the fee earners in ensuring all post-completion formalities are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a property-focused legal support role and will be confident handling key tasks such as SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications, and managing deadlines and requisitions. Key Responsibilities: Submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications for completed transactions Dealing with Land Registry requisitions and liaising with HMRC and other external bodies as necessary Tracking and managing key deadlines, including managing the post-completion diary system Ensuring accurate filing and storage of documentation in line with internal procedures Preparing and sending out title documentation and reports to clients and lenders Supporting the wider Commercial Property team with general administrative duties as required Candidate Profile: Previous experience in a similar post-completion or property paralegal role, ideally within a commercial property setting Solid understanding of the Land Registry and SDLT processes, with the ability to deal confidently with requisitions Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-friendly approach Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using legal case management systems and online portals Why Apply?
