Experienced Social Worker in Community Long Term Team
We are looking for an experienced social worker to join the Community Long Term Team. The team supports all adults (18+), including those living with physical disabilities, older adults, people with sensory impairment, learning disabilities or autism.
The role involves completing Care Act 2014 assessments, reviews, mental capacity assessments, S117 reviews, S42 enquiries and other safeguarding work, as well as Copdol and other court work. It provides opportunities for growth and development.
Provisional interview date: week commencing 22nd June.

Our team consists of social workers, alternatively qualified roles, Senior Social Workers, and three Team Managers (Imaan Ashiq, Elaine Lounds and Zara Munt). The successful candidate will report to Imaan Ashiq.
All about You
We seek a Social Worker committed to practice, proactive, adaptable, with strong organisational and risk assessment skills, capable of multi‑agency working, and able to travel independently between locations.
Applicants must hold a current Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England, have experience working with adults, and a good understanding of Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other relevant legislation. They must professionally utilise a Strengths Based Approach and be able to make risk‑assessed decisions to promote safety.
