Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, enabling and enhancing telecom networks and delivering the tech-enabled future. We provide full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. This role will be within our private networks.
We manage assets and refresh systems with 24/7 network operations, including comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape. Candidates should be prepared to commute to customer sites for meetings and labs for testing. Contractually, you will be based at your local M Group office.
What will you be doing?
* Craft and review cutting-edge IP architectures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer needs.
* Drive technical leadership across teams to implement IP solutions.
* Proactively identify and mitigate IP risks through robust security controls.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain adherence to IP standards.
* Translate business requirements into effective IP strategies.
* Stay ahead of IP trends and elevate our IP posture.
* Plan, test, and implement robust solutions, including hardware testing, vulnerability scans, and configuration staging.
* Empower teams with training, documentation, and hands-on sessions for seamless implementation and support.
* Travel readiness: be prepared to travel for testing, training and complex implementations.
* Assist in gathering system performance data and share insights with the Security Team.
What You’ll Bring
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, IP, or a related field (Masters is a plus).
* At least 5 years of experience in IP, focusing on technical design, implementation, and architecture.
* Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent preferred.
* Familiarity with F5 and Cisco ASA security solutions is a strong advantage.
* Proficiency in IP technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and vulnerability management.
* Hands-on experience with integration projects involving IP technologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex security challenges.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Leadership and mentoring experience within technical teams.
