Job Description and Summary:
We are a busy Practice seeking a motivated and experienced Business and Finance Manager, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will be a pro-active professional who is confident working independently whilst supporting colleagues in Leamington Spa and London. The position is based in our office in Leamington Spa but we may consider a hybrid working arrangement for the right candidate(s). The role will require some flexible overtime at certain times, in order to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A relevant finance qualification or part qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, AAT).
* Experience in management accounting and project fee forecasting.
* Proficiency in financial software (XERO) and Excel.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively and accurately.

Day-to-day, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Book-keeping – including processing purchase orders, invoices, bills and employee expenses to XERO, bank reconciliations and debtor chasing
* Providing accurate and timely project financials and month end reports to Directors
* Supporting Directors to ensure compliance with ISO requirements, including internal audits
* Monthly payroll (BrightPay), NEST pension reporting and reconciliations to HMRC
* Quarterly VAT return preparation and submission
* Supporting the year end financial reporting process, including R&D claims
* Managing certain IT tasks, with the support of the company IT consultant, including new starter on-boarding and Cyber Essentials annual certification
* Assisting with updates to the company website and social media
* Supervising the Office Administrator, guiding them in their daily tasks and ensuring a collaborative team environment.

Salary and Package
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per year, pro-rated, plus Bank Holidays
NEST pension
The salary displayed is a FTE salary for a 37.5 hour working week and therefore subject to pro-ration for part time hours.
Normal working hours are Monday - Friday :00 (20 hours) with additional flexible overtime requirements to meet business needs.
