Job Title: Site Engineer (with ITP / Quality Assurance Experience) Location: Erith, South East London Employment Type: Permanent or Long Term Contract Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Manager Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer with strong experience in Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to oversee site activities on a long term clean water infrastructure project in Erith, South East London. Key Responsibilities: * Setting Out * Supervise and manage daily site construction activities to meet project timelines, budget, and quality standards. * Prepare, review, and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all site activities and ensure strict compliance. * Coordinate with QA/QC teams to schedule inspections and witness testing as per approved ITPs. * Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding inspections, approvals, and quality requirements. * Maintain accurate records of site progress, inspection reports, and material testing documentation. * Identify and resolve technical or quality-related issues at site. * Ensure that all works adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. * Assist in preparing method statements and ensure all construction activities follow approved procedures and drawings. Qualifications & Experience * HND or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects. * Proven experience in developing and implementing ITPs and coordinating with QA/QC teams. * Strong knowledge of construction standards, specifications, and relevant codes. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. * Familiarity with project management and quality assurance software is an advantage.
