About the company
Based in Truro, Form Consulting Engineers operate throughout Devon and Cornwall, offering a full range of Structural, Civil Engineering and Party Wall services. We currently work mostly in the residential and commercial sectors on a wide spectrum of projects that range in size from small domestic alterations up to large multi-million-pound projects in interesting locations.
What are we looking for
* 4-7 years experience post-graduate experience as an engineer.
* You must hold a suitable engineering degree MEng/BEng in engineering and ideally be working towards chartership with the IStructE.
* Proven technical knowledge and experience of delivering projects from concept design through to tender stage.
* Excellent knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, procedures, and structural principles.
* Based in or able to travel to Truro, Cornwall.
The candidate should have
* Recent experience leading and managing engineering projects as the principal point of contact.
* Confidence in managing a team and ability to delegate and verify technical delivery to meet project scope requirements.
* Motivated and commercially aware; this opportunity commands more than the norm for a Senior engineering position.
* Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, analytical and technical design ability.
* Experience in delivering Party Wall Surveys is desirable but not essential.
