About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Health Club Manager to oversee the daily operations of our club. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for fostering a positive environment for both staff and members. As the Club Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, managing a team, and driving the success of the club through effective customer service management and ensuring health and safety protocols are implemented. Duties Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and morale. Implement training programmes to enhance team skills in customer service and membership sales techniques. Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all activities align with the clubs health and safety standards and objectives. Maintain effective communication with members, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, inventory control, and financial reporting. Develop strategies to increase membership sales and enhance member retention. Supervise staff performance, providing constructive feedback and conducting regular evaluations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the club environment. Requirements Proven experience in team management within health club environment. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Experience in supervising staff and managing day-to-day operations. Proficient in administrative duties including record keeping and reporting. A keen understanding of sales techniques to drive membership growth. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on member satisfaction.
