Salary: £70,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in an Infrastructure and Service leadership role in a medium/large scale organisation Experience of leading technical teams and managing day-to-day IT operations Experience of managing modern cloud-first environments Knowledge and experience of leading Azure cloud infrastructure and migration Support and service management experience Modern workplace expertise with M365 Networking and communications experience Familiarity with security technology and solutions Understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering Responsibilities: Define and own the cloud, infrastructure, and service strategy and roadmap, aligned to business, digital, and security priorities Drive the transition to modern, scalable, and resilient platforms and services Be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of core technology services, including modern workplace, hosting, networks, platforms, and shared services Own incident, problem, and service management processes, driving continuous service improvement Lead cloud and infrastructure platforms (on-prem, cloud, and hybrid), ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost optimisation Own capacity planning, lifecycle management, and technical debt reduction Lead the delivery of infrastructure and service change initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and platform transformations Manage the service and infrastructure budget, including investment planning, run-cost optimisation, and value tracking Manage strategic vendors and service providers, ensuring performance, resilience, and value for money Lead, develop, and retain a multi-disciplinary infrastructure and service organisation Build capability across cloud, workplace, platform, network, and service management disciplines Technologies: Azure Cloud DevOps Support Network Security More: We are a market-leading organization located in Ipswich, currently undergoing an exciting period of transformation.
