A warm Richmond primary is recruiting a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join KS1 on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 2 Teacher will take part in collaborative planning before January 2026, attend an induction programme in January 2026, and lead teaching from January 2026 as the Year 2 Teacher. This Full-Time Year 2 Teacher role is ideal for someone who loves early primary learning, formative assessment and strong family engagement. • Year 2 Teacher — Full-Time post — Richmond — January 2026 start • Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly Richmond primary — January 2026 start • Year 2 Teacher to receive induction and CPD from January 2026 Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities • Plan and deliver daily phonics, guided reading and carefully sequenced writing and mathematics lessons as the Year 2 Teacher. • Use formative assessment to identify gaps and run targeted interventions as the Year 2 Teacher. • Lead transition to Year 3, communicate with parents and attend moderation sessions positioned around January 2026 as the Year 2 Teacher. The Year 2 Teacher will be in post and teaching from January 2026. Year 2 Teacher Requirements • QTS and demonstrable KS1 experience expected of the Year 2 Teacher. • Passionate about phonics, confident with assessment and an effective communicator as the Year 2 Teacher. • Available to prepare prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 2 Teacher.
