About the role
We are Balfour Beatty, a leading UK construction firm building iconic buildings and structures that will last for generations. As a trainee site manager, you’ll explore the complexities of construction management, learn project‑management, site operations and leadership skills.
What you’ll be doing
* Act as a trainee site manager for construction projects.
* Support the planning and coordination of on‑site teams.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Assist in project documentation, reporting and communication with stakeholders.
* Learn and apply project‑management tools and techniques across the programme.
Who we’re looking for
* University students (or recent graduates) currently studying or have recently completed a degree that includes civil engineering, construction management, architecture, surveying or a related discipline.
* Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and eager to learn.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Committed to health and safety, quality and sustainability on construction sites.
