Suffolk County Council - Endeavour House, Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2BX - Hybrid
£24,404 per annum (pro rata for part time)
37 hours per week - Flexible working options available
Fixed term up to 24 months (apprenticeship)
Join us as an Apprentice Recruitment Administrator in our Early Careers team and be part of a modern, flexible, and effective organization passionate about making a difference for the environment, our communities, and our people. Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to support our early careers programs through various administrative tasks, including managing work experience requests, updating spreadsheets, and assisting with apprenticeship documentation.
Your duties will include:
Tracking and managing work experience requests, ensuring timely follow-up with managers.
Updating spreadsheets such as the people tracker and levy tracker.
Communicating effectively with managers to facilitate placements and programs.
Assisting with monthly and quarterly reporting.
Supporting school and university visits, career fairs, and events to promote apprenticeship opportunities.

Business Administrator - Business Administrator / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
Associate Project Manager - Associate Project Manager / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
Duration: 18 months

During your apprenticeship, you'll work towards the role described, receive hands-on training, and pursue certification. Completing the apprenticeship does not guarantee a full-time position, but you will have priority when applying for vacancies during the last 3 months of your contract.
You will need:
To be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
To remain calm under pressure and manage workload fluctuations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders.
A passion for helping others and making a positive impact.
The team
Our team manages early careers programs, including work experience, apprenticeships, internships, and engagement with schools and universities. We aim to showcase the benefits of these programs and help individuals progress from work experience to employment, fostering local careers.
