As a plant & transport coordinator you would join our operations team working under the supervision of the Group Plant Manager & Managing Director. Duties will be as per job description. Job Description: • Procure plant requisitions ensuring plant/tools/equipment and consumables are on-site when requested. • Managing and liaising daily with site operatives ensuring that required plant and equipment required for site uses is procured timely. • Weekly tracking of all company plant and equipment. • Booking and load planning all transport for site movements deliveries/collections • Ensuring that pick lists are generated timely to be actioned by warehouse operatives. • Ensuring that all associated equipment for plant is considered so that all plant and tooling can be used on day 1 of delivery. • Ordering of consumable stock items and managing internal stock levels. • Ensuring internal plant and equipment issued and returned is on/off hied through database to ensure that internal inventory levels are accurate at all times. • Arranging of certificates of thorough examinations/LOLER/PAT testing for companies’ plant & tools. • Organise maintenance/repairs and maintenance of the companies’ plant and equipment. • Compile, monitor and review weekly returns from site teams, managing weekly plant locations. • Look after the fleet vehicles, MOT servicing and repair works, hiring of fleet. • Cross hire of tools as and when required by site personnel • Main point of contact for all site personnel for plant, consumables, power tools and breakdowns. • Ensuring that all charges for plant/equipment/consumables are entered through Syrinx on a timely basis. • Notifying management on shortages of internal plant/tools and equipment. • Manage roles and responsibilities within the current Plant & Transport Department. • Assist with the implementation and enhancement of business processes relating to plant, equipment and transport
