Lecturer in Health and Social Sciences
Salary: £31,339 - £46,059 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Start Date: 26th August 2025
Contract: Permanent/Full Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an adaptable and creative individual to teach in our Health T-Level department at Cirencester College.
We welcome applications from individuals with a strong background in teaching health and social care or those looking to transition from the health sector, including nursing, mental health, or community health. Experience or willingness to teach across pathways such as adult nursing, mental health, healthcare science, or Level 2 health transition courses would be advantageous.
The role involves:
1. Teaching to a high standard and developing students' skills and confidence.
2. Collaborating with an experienced health team.
3. Working with our work experience team and employers to maximize student placements.
4. Participating as a member of the Faculty and College community.
5. Providing pastoral support if the role includes being a personal tutor.
Candidates should be committed to post-secondary education, motivated to achieve high standards, and capable of working within deadlines in a demanding environment. The college supports professional development for new entrants into teaching.
