Senior Internal Audit Manager
Hybrid / London
Salary to £95,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits package
Astrum Search is delighted to be partnering with a leading global organisation, supporting their search for an experienced Senior Audit Manager (or a talented Audit Manager looking to step up) to join their Internal Audit team.
This is a pivotal role where you’ll lead risk, operational, and finance audits, provide independent assurance, and help drive continuous improvement across the organisation. Your work will support the Head of Internal Audit and the Board in maintaining robust governance, risk management, and control frameworks.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and execute end-to-end audits and special projects across risk, operational, and finance areas
2. Develop, delegate, and evaluate team members to optimise performance and engagement
3. Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives on risk and governance matters
4. Facilitate cross-functional engagement to ensure effective risk mitigation
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit function
6. Partner with teams to promote collaboration and identify best practices
Skills & Experience:
7. Qualified accountant or auditor with proven experience at a senior level
8. Strong understanding of business operations, finance, IT, and project management
9. Demonstrable experience managing multi-task teams and leading successful audit projects
10. Ability to influence and gain acceptance across diverse stakeholders
11. Data-driven mindset with a focus on analytics and continuous improvement
