Outpatient Coordinator role at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
You will work alongside other members of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases administration team to provide a high level of support for the Infection Division. Your key duties will include booking appointments, carrying out complex administrative tasks, and serving as the first point of contact for patients, members of the public, and healthcare staff outside the division.
Responsibilities
* Manage outpatient clinic reception duties and appointment bookings.
* Support doctors and nurses by handling administrative tasks that enable clinical work.
* Explain and guide colleagues through complex administrative pathways.
* Provide assistance and cover for other members of the administration team when requested.
* Offer feedback and suggestions to improve service delivery and administrative processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Excellent communication skills and a focus on patient care.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Proficiency in managing administrative systems and patient booking software.
* Legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available for this role).
