Job Title: Laboratory Technician - Organic Division Location: Bretby, UK Salary: £12.21 per hour Working Hours: Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Additional Availability Required: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Monday to Friday) About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our Organic Division team in Bretby. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for laboratory work and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory analyses in accordance with established procedures. Prepare samples, reagents, and equipment for testing. Maintain accurate records of all tests and results. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and laboratory best practices. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments. Support evening operations as required between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Requirements: Previous laboratory experience (preferably in an organic chemistry or environmental testing setting). Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to support evening work hours. Good communication and record-keeping skills. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of £12.21.
