You may be placed in a variety of care settings, including: Supported Living Services – Supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, PMLD, and/or complex needs. Children’s Residential Homes – Supporting young people with EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties), learning disabilities, or challenging behaviours. Therapeutic Children’s Care Services – For young people who have experienced trauma and have complex needs. Supported Hostels – Supporting adults facing homelessness, substance misuse, or mental health challenges. Your Responsibilities May Include: Supporting service users with their morning or evening routines Assisting with daily activities, promoting independence and personal goals Meal preparation and feeding assistance Personal care, if required Light household tasks and maintaining a clean, safe environment Accurate record-keeping and communication with other team members Requirements: Minimum 6 months of paid care experience in a relevant setting in the UK Right to work in the UK A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one (Enhanced Child and Adult workforce DBS provided*) Flexibility and reliability for shift-based work Confidence to work in a variety of care settings with different needs Relevant care training (mandatory training and certificates provided for personal use*) Strong communication, emotional resilience, and the ability to build rapport with these vulnerable people. *Terms apply What We Offer: Flexible work that fits around your availability A friendly, experienced support team to guide you Opportunity to gain experience across a range of care environments Ongoing training and development 24/7 contact available in emergencies Weekly pay via BACS Holiday pay earned separately to the Support Worker hourly rate Shift Patterns: We offer flexible shift patterns that can be tailored to your preferences, including: Monday to Sunday shifts Early shifts, late shifts, long days, and waking nights or sleep-ins You can choose how much or how little you work, allowing you to balance work with other commitments.
