L3 Teaching Assistant
(with Forest School experience desirable)

An opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant within Southall School, with a specialism in Forest School and Outdoor Learning activities.
The job involves working across the whole school and with individual students. It is desirable for the Teaching Assistant to have experience of working with children with SEN and complex needs.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:
* Level two numeracy/literacy skills
* NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
* Level 3 Forest School certificate is desired or anybody who has an interest in Outdoor Learning and is willing to undertake Forest School training.
* An understanding of Child Protection policies
* Patience and empathy towards pupils
* Good command of literacy and numeracy
The post is 32.5 hours per week at level 3, starting at £13.26.
