Key Responsibilities: Accurately assemble equipment by reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings. Service and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to design specifications. Monitor materials and equipment to identify defects or faults. Support key company initiatives like on-time delivery and cost-quality management. Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to 5S and LEAN principles. Contribute to the development of new techniques and products and support machinery acquisitions. Encourage team idea generation and implement improvement strategies. Engage in daily team briefings and contribute to discussions on potential improvements. Complete assigned tasks to achieve high target levels set by your Team Leader. Be flexible with overtime to meet business demands. Ensure all products meet NOV quality standards while maintaining productivity. Report issues via the engineering support system to enhance designs. Promote and adhere to company objectives, policies, and safety procedures. Participate in safety initiatives and follow all risk assessments. Strictly follow inspection and quality criteria, policies, and procedures. Skills & Experience Required: Completed apprenticeship in HGV or plant mechanics. NC in a relevant field to understand and apply technical information. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and written instructions. Quick learner with the ability to integrate new skills swiftly. Effective problem-solving skills with innovative suggestions. Willingness to share information and eliminate roadblocks for colleagues. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently. Professional demeanour in representing the company both in person and in writing. Eagerness to advance within the organization.
