You would guide and provide support to ensure that clients who are referred into the hospital have all the required information on the services they need, supporting with queries, complaints, billing, and accounting issues so everything is effectively managed to ensure a smooth referral pathway and an outstanding client experience. Salary will depend on previous experience and would range between £25,500 to £30,000, this is a full-time role but we will consider part-time applications. As Referrals Receptionist you would be responsible for: Managing the bookings of our busy referral services, liaising with the client, specialist and referring vet to ensure a smooth referral pathway and great patient care. Working with the transport team to arrange the transportation of patients between our sites, in our fully electric pet ambulance. Acting as the first point of call for referred clients, building relationships with them and providing reassurance and support. As well as maintaining great relationships with the clients throughout the referrals process, understanding their needs, and resolving any concerns that they may have. Employee discount Does this sound like you? 1 year of experience in a general customer-facing role(s) with proven success at client-relationship building. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with particular reference to building rapport and relationships, understanding, and empathizing with client needs and negotiating resolutions with the wider team. A positive attitude with a confident and empathetic approach. A good level of IT skills. Ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking and maintaining organization. Organization skills especially to self-manage daily and weekly tasks to completion. Enjoy working and helping people with a proactive, can-do attitude. Not essential but nice to have requirements: Experience with working in a start-up, veterinary or medical business. Knowledge of CRM systems Qualification or award which is level 5 in customer service. What now?
