Overview
Cambridgeshire Constabulary is recruiting a transferee Police Constable surveillance officer for our dedicated force surveillance team.
Responsibilities
As a surveillance officer you will provide the Force with a key investigative resource, targeting the county's highest-profile cases and organised crime groups. You will blend into the natural environment to gather information and intelligence about subjects, working as part of a covert team.
Key Requirements
* Qualified Q1 surveillance officer with relevant covert operational experience.
* Qualified for SC Vetting and able to undertake and pass the vetting process.
* Completion of a job-related fitness test or evidence of current ticket with JRFT and PPST.
* Provision of DNA and fingerprint elimination samples as part of pre-employment checks for high-risk roles.
Vetting Process
* When applying to transfer to another force.
* When renewing existing vetting clearance.
* When moving into a role that requires Management Vetting, even if you currently hold MV clearance.
* When moving into or working in a role that involves close contact with vulnerable individuals.
