Sports Coach Teaching Assistant.
Teaching Personnel are looking for an energetic and active Teaching Assistant with a sporting background to support pupils in schools. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, has a passion for sport and activity, and wants to bring their enthusiasm into classroom.
About the Role:
- Support pupils in lessons, on a 1to1 basis and in small groups, using your sporting background to engage and motivate.
- Encourage active participation in learning, teamwork, and positive behaviour through movement and activity
- Assist pupils who may struggle to focus in the classroom by using creative, active learning strategies.
- Provide support across the school, including in the classroom, playground, and during enrichment activities.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored support for pupils, including those with SEN or behavioural needs.
- Act as a positive role model, promoting confidence, resilience, and wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate
- Sports coaching qualifications or a background in PE/sport.
- Experience working with children or young people.
- Energetic, resilient, and able to inspired pupils through a sporty, active approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
