This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with strong experience in solar PV and battery storage systems to join a forward thinking renewable energy company delivering high quality domestic and commercial installations.
You will play a key role in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of renewable energy systems across Powys, Shropshire, Herefordshire, and occasionally further afield.

Location & Work Pattern
Based in: Presteigne (LD8 2UF)
Field-based role covering Powys, Shropshire & Herefordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Overtime & occasional weekend work available
Start Date: Immediate / Negotiable
Key Responsibilities
Design and install solar PV and battery storage systems
Carry out testing, inspection, and commissioning
Work on both domestic and commercial installations
Ensure compliance with current electrical and safety regulations
Diagnose faults and carry out maintenance and repairs
Provide technical advice and professional support to clients
Requirements - Must Have
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
18th Edition (BS7671)
AM2 qualification
Battery storage installation experience
3-5 years' experience as a qualified electrician
Experience across domestic and commercial environments
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
Desirable (Nice to Have)
Solar PV qualification
Additional renewable energy certifications
Special Requirements
Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally further afield
Strong work ethic and excellent customer-facing skills
