Engine Mechanic/Technician Opportunity
Are you an experienced aerospace industry professional with a passion for engine maintenance and repair? This company is seeking a skilled Engine Mechanic/Technician to join their team in Stansted.
As an Engine Mechanic/Technician, you will perform maintenance and repair activities on engines such as CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G, and Trent700. Your main focus will be to ensure efficient turnaround of engine shop inputs while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in daily operations of a busy engine workshop.
* Carry out maintenance and repairs following manuals and regulations.
* Contribute to meeting company objectives and performance targets.
* Promote a safe and efficient work environment.
* Follow health, safety, and security policies.
* Demonstrate flexibility and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Time-served aerospace apprenticeship with at least 2 years' experience.
* Experience working in a busy engine shop on listed engine types.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Knowledge of engine manuals and documentation.
* Awareness of Part 145 and FAA regulations.
* Approval on at least one engine type.
* Desirable: Borescope inspection, Human Factors, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety certifications.
