We are currently recruiting for Financial Crime Specialists to perform financial crime reviews for our existing customer relationships across our Corporate/Savings and Retirement portfolios. This role is suitable if you have experience conducting money laundering checks or working in a similar capacity.
About the job:
You will perform financial crime reviews of our existing customer relationships, ensuring all demands and work activities remain within service tolerance, while proactively addressing challenges in service delivery.
Responsibilities include:
1. Performing Know Your Customer (KYC) Due Diligence assessments.
2. Conducting Enhanced Due Diligence for Corporate Entities during onboarding and ongoing monitoring where appropriate.
3. Performing Transaction Monitoring.
4. Carrying out PEP and Sanctions Screening.
5. Ensuring all demands and activities are within service tolerance and visible to leadership, proactively managing any service challenges.
6. Managing relevant Financial Crime controls and assessments.
7. Providing assurance that operations comply with Aviva Anti-Money Laundering standards.
Skills and experience required:
* Proven experience in financial crime reviews, with a strong understanding of methodology and UK regulatory requirements.
* Ability to assess and manage risks, make risk-based decisions, and a good knowledge of Fraud, AML, and broader Financial Crime regulations.
* Knowledge of Financial Crime processes including customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, PEP and sanction screening, and transaction monitoring.
* Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate effectively to varied audiences.
* Previous experience within Financial Services and/or Insurance industries.
