Contek Recruitment Services are collaborating with our prestigious client who are a family-run business with over 50 years of expertise, who has established itself as a respected vehicle logistics service provider. Operating a fleet of over 80 car transporters, the company offers comprehensive logistic solutions to the automotive sector. Based in Ellistown, Nr. Coalville, Leicestershire, and with multiple operating centres across the UK, they provide a competitive salary of £24 per hour, along with attractive benefits such as a company pension, life insurance, and a Bike2Work Scheme.
46 hours per week Monday to Thursday Nights at £24 - £1,104.00 a week £57,408 per year
Plus every 4th Saturday at overtime £36.00 per hour - £4,968 per year

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine safety inspections, MOT preparations, servicing, and repairs on vehicles and trailers.
- Accurately record all work completed, parts used, and time taken for recharging to the appropriate cost centre.
- Complete all maintenance and repair record sheets meticulously.
- Maintain a professional, logical, and safe working manner at all times.
- Ensure the work area remains safe, clean, and tidy.
Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Communication: Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation.
- Knowledge/Expertise: Fully skilled HGV technician with formal training, capable of diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical defects.
- Innovation: Methodical and quality-focused approach to problem-solving.
