Chemistry Teacher - High-Achieving Secondary School in Hertfordshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale (London Fringe MPS/UPS) Chemistry Teacher A high-achieving Secondary School in Hertfordshire is seeking a professional and highly organised Chemistry Teacher to join their experienced academic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-structured and supportive school environment where teaching staff play an essential role in the smooth operation of the school. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day instructional support across multiple key stages, specializing in advanced chemical theory and laboratory-based learning. Responsibilities will include maintaining student progress records, updating school tracking systems, managing departmental correspondence, supporting attendance administration, and assisting with the organisation of scientific events, laboratory experiments, and safety-compliant practical sessions. You will also support communication with parents, students, and external agencies while ensuring that information is handled professionally and confidentially at all times.
