We're recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a growing food manufacturing business in Hull. Producing over 500 million meals every year, this is a site with significant scale, ongoing investment, and ambitious growth plans.
Whether you're a mechanically biased or electrically biased Maintenance Engineer, you'll be joining a supportive engineering team responsible for keeping production running efficiently. Experience within food manufacturing is welcomed but not essential, and engineers from other manufacturing environments will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery
Diagnosing faults and restoring equipment safely and efficiently
Supporting machinery installations, upgrades, and improvement projects
Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
Completing accurate maintenance records and shift handovers
Supporting site services and wider engineering activities when required
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, food safety, and quality
What We're Looking For
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or within a maintenance environment
Mechanical or electrical maintenance skills
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
Good communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards
Engineers from food manufacturing or other industrial sectors are encouraged to apply
