Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Plasterer
We’re looking for an experienced Plasterer / Damp Proofer to join our newly formed Damp and Mould Team, working across our properties in the North East.
About the role
This is a great opportunity to be part of our growing Property Services Team, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance. You'll help us tackle one of the most important challenges in keeping homes safe and healthy - damp and mould. Your work will directly support our commitment to putting customers first and continuously improving the services we provide.
About you
You'll need to demonstrate a high level of skill across all aspects of plastering - from minor repairs to large-scale works - with excellent attention to detail in a variety of settings, including occupied, void, domestic, and non-domestic properties. You'll have completed a recognised plastering apprenticeship or have equivalent experience, and be confident in:
 * Boarding and skimming
 * Dot and dabbing
 * Rendering
 * Damp proof course injection and hacking off
 * Tanking membrane
 * Applying waterproof coatings
 * Knowledge of damp and mould
Experience in other trades such as brickwork, paving, or tiling is a bonus. You'll be comfortable working independently or as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and health and safety.
A full UK driving license is essential

 * Plasterer - permanent role
 * Salary is 33,148 per annum
 * Location - North East
 * 37 Hours per week
