Position
The Faculty of Society and Culture is seeking a committed and student-centred Student Success Officer to join our dedicated Student Success Team. This frontline role is essential in supporting student engagement, continuation and progression, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive during their time at LJMU.
Responsibilities
* Deliver timely, inclusive interventions for students identified as at risk of disengagement or withdrawal.
* Provide one-to-one support and manage a caseload of student cases.
* Work closely with academic colleagues and specialist services to coordinate joined‑up support across the faculty.
* Maintain a regular onsite presence in line with service needs and in the restricted scope for hybrid working.
Qualifications & Skills
* Highly organised with experience in managing a busy caseload.
* Confident in using electronic systems for case management.
* Experienced in providing student-facing support, ideally within HE or FE.
* Skilled at managing sensitive conversations, building rapport and maintaining professional boundaries.
