Are you a passionate, hands-on hospitality professional with a deep appreciation for sustainability and exceptional dining experiences? Were looking for a Restaurant General Manager to lead front-of-house operations at our award-winning farm-to-plate restaurant nestled in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds .
About Us - Restaurant General Manager We are a sustainability-led destination restaurant built on the principles of ethical sourcing, zero-waste operations, and a strong connection to the land. Our menus are hyper-seasonal, created from ingredients grown and reared on our own regenerative farm and from a trusted network of local producers.
The Role - Restaurant General Manager As Restaurant General Manager, youll play a key role in shaping the guest experience, leading a passionate front-of-house team, and ensuring our service matches the quality and ethos of our food. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to champion sustainability in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and front-of-house team
Deliver warm, seamless service in line with our sustainable ethos
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team
Collaborate closely with the kitchen and farm teams to align guest experience with seasonal menus
Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are maintained
Manage reservations, events, and guest communications
Support with recruitment, rota planning and budgeting
About You Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-quality hospitality setting
A genuine passion for sustainable food systems and ethical hospitality
Strong leadership and people management skills
A calm, professional presence under pressure
Familiar with using reservation and POS systems
Flexible, proactive, and a strong communicator
