This exciting new Capital Markets Associate role will report to the Director of Capital Markets and work closely with Treasury, Finance and Risk to evaluate new opportunities, but will also provide additional support across the business when required. This role is based in Manchester but offers hybrid working flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse potential forward flows lines, senior warehouse lines and whole loan purchases across various ABS loan types (mortgage, consumer, auto, credit card, equipment, corporate)
* Participate in commercial negotiations of pool acquisitions, forward flow and senior warehouse lines
* Develop and maintain financial models from a capital markets perspective
* Support wider finance projects, including capital planning and securitisation.
* Assist in preparing materials and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
Skills Required
* Numerate Degree e.g. bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Physics or related fields
* Financial Services background
* Strong interest in structured finance of ABS
* Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
* Advanced MS Excel skills, ability to analyse large data sets
* Experience in cash flow modelling
* Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure, often to very tight timescales
* A can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and to get involved
