Job responsibilities This is a 10 PA appointment for a Consultant urogynaecologist with subspecialty or equivalent qualification and expertise. The postholder will support a Consultant led tertiary team offering an evidence based outpatient, ambulatory and laparoscopic urogynaecological service. We run a weekly Urogynaecological MDTs and a monthly Combined Pelvic floor MDT and clinic with our colorectal and urological colleagues The successful applicant will have fantastic opportunities to help further develop all aspects of the urogynaecology service including advanced urogynaecological surgery. Since introducing vNOTES in 2022, Leeds Teaching hospitals NHS trust has delivered the second highest number of cases in the country and looks set to develop and advance this service further. We enjoy active research links with Leeds University. The unit trains both Urogynaecology ATSM trainees and holds a shared Urogynaecology Subspecialty training post with Hull Royal Infirmary. We need an enthusiastic individual to lead in this specialist area, to work alongside the existing gynaecologists and help to support a growing team of advanced nurse practitioners. The post will be based at St Jamess University Hospital.
