Our client one of the UKs leading facilities manaagement compant, are looking for a Technical Project manager to work in their Harwell Campus Project in Didcot. This role is not a traditional construction PM role. These hires will act as technical M&E project managers focused on investigation, remediation and closeout of legacy issues at clients Harwell facilities. The PMs will be the central point of coordination between our client's ops, client, and specialist subcontractors. They must be self-sufficient, technically confident across M&E disciplines, and able to identify issues, challenge missing documentation, and drive remedial actions to completion. Work includes reviewing commissioning data, investigating failures (e.g., compressors, freezers, fire alarms), checking drawings/test results, arranging recommissioning/testing, and producing structured findings. They must be on-site 5 days/week, 8am to 5pm (Harwell/Oxford), visible and proactive in supporting client needs. This is highly variable, hands‑on work requiring independent judgement. Experience required: - PM experience in M&E / FM / Building Services. - Strong technical understanding across mechanical, electrical, BMS, and life-safety systems. - Background in commissioning, technical investigations, or engineering project closeout. - Confident stakeholder management and contractor oversight. - Highly self-managed, proactive, detail‑driven - Basic DBS. - Technical qualifications in M/E/Construction preferred; CDM knowledge essential.
