Now, an exciting opportunity exists to join the UK’s leading lighting manufacturer as a Specification Sales Manager. You will be part of a team providing innovative lighting solutions across sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, MOD, and MOJ.

The Role of the Specification Sales Manager
* Promote high-quality lighting products, including lighting, controls, and luminaires, and create demand through strategic project hunting.
* Target sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Local Authorities, MOD, and MOJ.
* Influence decision-makers like ME contractors, consultants, architects, local authorities, and end users to specify products and ensure delivery via appropriate channels.
* Develop and maintain relationships within your territory to drive specifications and secure project opportunities.
* Collaborate with Lighting Designers to provide optimal product solutions aligned with project needs.
* Identify new project opportunities and convert specifications into sales.
* Ensure all activities comply with company policies.

* Salary: £50K - £65K, with £90K - £100K+ OTE

The Ideal Person for the Specification Sales Manager
* Experience in lighting, especially external sales, is preferred.
* Background working with lighting contractors, installers, designers, wholesalers, or as a sales professional transitioning into specification sales.
* Proven ability to build strong relationships with consultants and end users.
* Knowledge of project sales processes and sectors like Education, Healthcare, Local Authorities, MOD, and MOJ is advantageous.
* Confident communicator capable of influencing specifications and securing project wins.
* Ambitious, driven, eager to learn, and interested in personal and professional growth.
* A natural relationship builder who combines strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and interpersonal skills.
