Academics currently have an exciting opportunity for a Science Tutor or Science Graduate to work as an Intervention Tutor within one of our partnership Ofsted rated partnership academies’ of ‘Good’ in Stoke-on-Trent.
Our partnership school is known for its warm and trusting environment (senior leaders are visibly seen regularly around the school for support) and students are known to thrive both socially and academically with other learners, and also with staff. Your responsibility as an Intervention Tutor will be to raise attainment and motivation for both high and low achieving students within the science department.
For the role, candidate's who apply must:
* Have achieved a Science Degree with a 2:2 or above.
* Be a team player who can work well and build good relationships with pupils and school staff
* Be available for full time in-house tuition role immediately, Monday-Friday (term time only).
* Desirably to have at least 6 week's experience in an environment working with children or adolescents.
* Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
