Are you a creative thinker who loves turning complex ideas into beautifully simple digital experiences?
We’re partnering with a growing, ambitious marketing agency with an impressive and varied client portfolio—spanning charities, retail, sports brands, professional services, and FMCG. They’re now looking for a UI / UX Designer to join their collaborative team and play a key role in shaping high-quality digital products.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on structure, logic, and clarity—but also enjoys pushing creative boundaries. Due to where they are located, you will need to live locally to the office or have access to a car and live no more than 45 minutes away.
What you’ll be doing
* Designing intuitive, user-focused websites and occasional apps
* Creating wireframes, UI layouts, and polished visual designs
* Collaborating closely with developers to bring ideas to life (primarily in WordPress)
* Contributing to proposals and helping shape digital strategy
* Working across a diverse range of projects—from brochure sites to content-rich platforms
You’ll be part of a team that genuinely values good UX—where reducing friction, improving conversion, and respecting development time are at the heart of every project.
What they’re looking for
* A strong eye for design fundamentals (typography, spacing, hierarchy, colour)
* Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
* Solid understanding of UX principles and accessibility
* Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
* Confidence presenting ideas to both internal teams and clients
* Ability to design within real-world technical constraints
Your experience
* 2–4 years’ commercial experience (agency preferred)
* Experience creating wireframes and UI designs
* Basic WordPress knowledge (themes, plugins, structure)
* A portfolio that demonstrates clear digital thinking
* Ability to contribute to proposals and digital strategy
Why join?
* Work with a diverse and exciting client base
* Be part of a close-knit, collaborative team
* Opportunity to grow your technical and strategic skills
* Office-based culture that values teamwork and creativity
While this role is primarily office-based, there’s flexibility for some home working once you’re settled in.
